Native American Paintings
Here are some paintings of American Indians. Most are from historical photographs- some famous and others anonymous.
I am part Choctaw and Chickasaw and have a body of American Indian paintings: which were represented in Santa Fe, NM and Oklahoma City, OK for many years.
I am currently working on a new series in both tempera and oil. The painting of Comache Chief Quanah Parker, to the right, was painted last year: it was awared Second in Painting at The Autry Museum 2013 Indian Market. Please click on to see or scroll down for more.

These are a group of tempera and ink paintings. It is a technque that I can no longer do- because of a change in the chemical make-up of tempera paint do to regulations! It is a great loss and I am seeking a way to produce the tempera paint.
